Privacy policy

This policy explains how we handle the personal data of visitors to dronvedelem.hu and of people requesting a quote, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information ("Infotv."). In case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.

2. What we process and why

2.1 Contact and quote requests

Data: name, email address, company or organisation (optional), phone number (optional), topic, message, and the page and time from which the message was sent.

Purpose: answering your enquiry, arranging a consultation and preparing an individual quote.

Legal basis:

  • if you request a quote on your own behalf: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b));
  • if you contact us on behalf of a company or organisation: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention: if no contract is concluded, 1 year from the last contact. If a contract is concluded, until claims arising from it become time-barred (generally 5 years under the Hungarian Civil Code); accounting records are kept for 8 years under Hungarian Act C of 2000 on Accounting.

Providing data is voluntary, but we cannot answer an enquiry without a name, email address and message.

When a new quote request arrives, we receive an internal notification. It contains only the topic, the originating page and the time – no personal data.

2.2 Server logs

Data: IP address, time of visit, page visited, browser and operating system type.

Purpose: secure operation of the website, detecting errors and abuse.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention: up to 90 days.

2.3 Cookies

The website uses only strictly necessary cookies:

Under section 155(4) of Hungarian Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communications, these do not require consent. We do not use analytics, marketing or social media cookies, and the website's fonts are served from our own server, so no data is passed to third parties while you browse.

3. Processors

The following processors may handle data, solely on our instructions:

  • Hosting provider: – hosting the website and server logs
  • Email provider: – delivering and storing incoming enquiries

We do not sell data to third parties and do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area. We disclose data to authorities only where required by law.

4. Data security

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only those who need personal data to handle an enquiry have access to it. Systems are updated regularly and access is logged.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request at any time:

  • access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15);
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
  • erasure where the conditions for processing no longer apply (Art. 17);
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18);
  • data portability in a machine-readable format (Art. 20);
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).

Send your request to . We respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest; in justified cases this may be extended by two further months, in which case we will inform you.

6. Remedies

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, please contact us first – we will try to resolve the issue quickly. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

You may also go to court. At your choice, proceedings may be brought before the regional court competent for your place of residence or stay (Infotv. section 23).
