System integration and a common operating picture

In short

The value of counter-drone protection doesn't lie in individual sensors, but in whether their data reaches the decision-maker as one common picture and a meaningful alert – within seconds.

What sensor fusion means

The RF sensor says: "drone, this type, somewhere in that direction". The radar says: "target at 1,200 m, 80 m altitude, closing at 12 m/s". The camera says: "drone, no visible payload". Fusion software merges these into one tracked target, removes duplicate alerts and assigns a priority.

What the C2 interface must do

  • Real-time common map picture
  • Zones and rules: what counts as an alert, where and when – e.g. a whitelist of your own authorised drones
  • Automatic camera cueing
  • Alerting the right person on the right channel
  • Full logging: who saw what, when, and what was decided – evidence and after-action review

Integration with existing systems

CCTV (VMS), access control, control-room and physical security information management (PSIM) software, alarm receiving centre. Without open interfaces, drone detection becomes yet another separate screen nobody looks at.

Cybersecurity and data protection

The counter-drone system is itself an attack surface: network segmentation, access management, patching and protected logs are required. Detection data – pilot location, footage – may be personal data, so purpose limitation, retention periods and access rights are needed.

How we help

Integration concept, interface specification, alert rule design, and custom software integration with your existing systems where needed.
